Actors You Didn't Know Were in Harry Potter

      When Harry Potter actors come to mind, Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint are some of the first names that come to mind. But did you know that there are quite a few well-known actors who got their start in the Harry Potter series?

Scarlett Byrne 
       We're all familiar with the girl who played Draco Malfoy's little girlfriend in the Harry Potter series, Pansy Parkinson. She was played by the actress Scarlett Byrne. Today she is more well-known as Nora Hildegard in The Vampire Diaries.

John Cleese
      Although actor John Cleese didn't get his start in the Harry Potter movies, many of us who are familiar with him didn't recognize him when he played our favorite Hogwarts ghost, Nearly Headless Nick. This actor is most famous for his sketch work in the world famous Monty Python.

Luke Youngblood
     None of us can forget cheeky Lee Jordan who was played by Like Youngblood. After his time acting in the Harry Potter series, this actor went on to play Magnitude in Community.

Julianne Hough
     Did you know that Julianne Hough made a brief appearance in Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone? She played an unnamed Gryffindor student. However, she is most well-known for being a contestant on Dancing with the Stars. Recently she went on to play Sandy in Grease.

Domhnall Gleeson
      All of us remember Domhnall Gleeson for his role as Bill Weasley in the last Harry Potter movie. However, you might recognize him as General Hux in the newest Star Wars movie.

David Tennant
     David Tennant played the creepy Barty Crouch Jr. in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. However, he really made a name for himself by playing the ninth doctor in Doctor Who. More recently,  he had parts in Jessica Jones and Broadchurch.
